The rules are simple. You, as the player, are dealt seven cards face up. You then build two hands from those seven cards. One is a standard five-card hand, called the high hand. The other two cards form a second hand, called the low hand. It’s important to remember that the terms “high” and “low” are simply the names of the two different hands. You are NOT trying to get low card values. The best cards in the low hand, therefore, would be two aces. The two-card hand must be weaker than the five-card hand.

Once you have arranged your two hands, the dealer turns over his cards and arranges two hands. If both of your hands beat both of the dealer’s hands, you win. If both of the dealer’s hands beat yours, the dealer wins. If you each win one hand, it is a tie and your bet is returned.
