Managed by Intercasino, the second largest casino in the world, Interpoker originally established a player base in their poker room from gamblers in the casino. With the relationship they now have with some professional poker players, along with aggressive marketing, their traffic has increased dramatically over the last couple of years.
Interpoker has a large concentration of European players, so ring games and tournaments are available at all times of day. As part of the Cryptologic network, the software is functional, but the overall presentation is not as visually appealing as some other rooms.
Not Accepting U.S Players
There are three different currencies to choose from - US dollar, Sterling, and Euro. Limits range from the low level ($.15/.25) to high level ($150/300).
Traffic is concentrated mainly at Hold’em games. Telephone and email support staff are courteous and responsive. Deposit options are plentiful. A unique aspect of Interpoker is the optional voice command, which is essentially a verbal play-by-play of the action at the table. There is also an open "proposition player" program, where poker players can earn money to start up new games or play in short-handed games.
Beginners will find very loose action at the lower limit tables, with plenty of traffic at all times of the day. They may also enjoy the voice commands of the dealer at the table. Intermediate players who appreciate fast play will like that the time limit for acting on your hand is only a few seconds. Tournament traffic continues to increase as a result of the money added tournaments that Interpoker hosts.
Hardcore enthusiasts will relish being able to play an unlimited number of tables/tournaments at a time. Interpoker does offer a loyalty program (MPP's) where points earned can be used to enter tournaments. Interpoker also offers a progressive bad beat jackpot.
If you want to be part of an innovative and growing poker room, Interpoker is an excellent choice.
Poker Software
Interpoker's gameplay is very fast. The graphics and color scheme are somewhat drab but the software is functional and reliable. The action countdown requires the player to act quickly on his/her hand. The lobby is cluttered as three different currencies are displayed for each limit of each game.
Average pot, number of hands per hour, and view flop percentage are all displayed. Current news and information is displayed via a "wall street" ticker at the bottom of the lobby. Players have the option of disabling the voice feature.
